each step we take is from here to there known or unknown · expected or anew
at this particular threshold you will: move a little. breathe a little, write. eat really good food. spend sometime outside. rest. be quiet. laugh out loud. listen. be touched. and spend sometime in honest conversation, with ourselves.

you don’t need to answer any of these questions to move forward. you could just get out of the fucking way and have a direct experience of life. your life.
i’m andrea and my introduction to yoga with Sri Dharma Mittra blew my mind as to what was possible in my body, mind, and breath. over 20 years later, i’ve been studying, practicing, and sharing yoga, in many of its forms, along with functional and sensory-based somatic movement. training in other modalities deepened my belief in the body as a storyteller - always speaking, always responding. taking everything i’ve experienced on and off the mat; living with a bad perm to cancer; and alchemizing the best mistakes i ever made; Storyworking was born in my one on one sessions - a practice exploring where breath, body, and lived experience meet the narratives that shape us. wherever and however you are, I can’t wait to meet you there. but more importantly, I can’t wait for you to meet you there. jai!

being witnessed is one of the most potent medicines i’ve ever observed. i’ve yet to not see it make a difference in person’s experience.
